Blom’s TopEye LiDAR technology development has its roots as far back as 1993 for LiDAR and 1999 for medium format digital images. Today Blom has its 5th generation of LiDAR processing software and 3rd TopEye LiDAR technology generation in production. Blom’s LiDAR technology offers an industry leading resolution of 1½ cm. Combined with an orthorectified image with a 2cm per pixel resolution the result brings the real world to your finger tips.

Over the years Blom’s proprietary software for the primary processing of LiDAR data TEPP-5 has extended far beyond the basic point cloud generation. Today, it is a highly integrated solution that includes comprehensive and objective statistics defining the actual data quality for each and every delivered data set.

Blom is pioneering the hybrid solutions involving LiDAR and digital images. The innovative RTCE-7 solution is a real-time 7 parameter camera exposure control, a corner stone in Blom’s LiDAR / Stereo restitution hybrid solution based on high resolution RW data.
